Data Collection

Finish Line stores your reading data (books, pages, session times, and streaks) locally on your device using SwiftData. No personal data is collected, transmitted, or shared with third parties.

Apple Music

If you choose to connect Apple Music, the app accesses your music library through Apple's MusicKit framework solely to play your playlists during reading sessions. No music data is stored or shared.

Barcode Scanning

The app uses your device camera to scan ISBN barcodes. Camera data is processed on-device only and is never stored or transmitted. Book metadata is fetched from the Google Books API based on the scanned ISBN.

Analytics

Finish Line uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-friendly, anonymous usage analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Screen Time / Family Controls

If you enable Focus Mode, the app uses Apple's Screen Time API to restrict access to selected apps during reading sessions. This data is managed entirely by iOS and is not accessible to Finish Line.

Acceptance

By downloading or using Finish Line, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Use of the App

Finish Line is a personal reading tracker and focus timer. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the app.

Subscriptions

Finish Line offers optional in-app subscriptions managed through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Intellectual Property

Finish Line, including its design, code, and content, is the intellectual property of Mehdev Inc. Book cover images and metadata are provided by the Google Books API and belong to their respective rights holders.

Finish Line is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Mehdev Inc. is not liable for any damages arising from the use of this app.
